About me

I'm a multimedia journalist and SEO expert with a passion for sports and storytelling.

I was born in Canada, grew up in southern New Jersey near Philadelphia, graduated from the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism and have held four different positions across three publications during my four-plus years in the industry.

I began as a sports-obsessed aspiring writer, developed into a multi-faceted reporter (writer, editor, photographer, videographer, social media presence) and then pivoted into an SEO-focused role with emphasis on beating the competition and quickly covering trending news. In an every-changing industry, I have repeatedly adapted and will continue finding how to best connect with audiences.

Although no longer a reporter, my experience in the field, combined with my SEO training and ability to quickly hop on trending news, makes me a versatile addition to any sports department.
